Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition in Critically Ill Patients

PRE-NUTRIMET WORKSHOP (OFF-LINE) – PRO PEDIATRICIANS
Enteral and parenteral nutrition are usually administered to patients for short periods of time in the hospital, but are occasionally needed for extended periods of time for patients at home or in long-term care facilities. In this Workshop, participants will learn about the provision of nutrients and intravenously for patients who are unable to eat adequately when provided a normal diet in critical care setting. The case base discussion will discuss about indications, monitoring, administration and solutions, complications both enteral and parenteral nutrition therapy to improve outcome.
